Because certified and
classified job openings happen not only at the start of a school year, but
throughout the year as well, we will maintain 5 job postings: Junior High
Teacher, Elementary Teacher, Substitute Teacher, Classified Employment, and
Classified Substitute.
Additionally, when a
specific position comes available, we will post that job separately. If you already have an application on file,
for one of the individual positions posted, we will review it from our database
for consideration.

Applications for Kindergarten through 6th Grade are now being
accepted for the 2008/2009 School Year.***

It is the
desire of the Fort Leavenworth Schools to employ highly qualified teachers
throughout the district. The policy of
the board is to select teachers that are not only qualified and capable, but
also dedicated to the teaching profession.
A personal interview in addition to the written application may be
requested. The interview invitation will
be extended by the Deputy Superintendent of USD 207. It is understood by the applicant that he or
she must be able to qualify for State of Kansas Licensure. Failure to obtain this Kansas Licensure would
mean cancellation of the contract with the Fort Leavenworth School
District.
