Fort Leavenworth School District #207 offers many conveniences, but one of the most unusual is transportation to all students beyond a reasonable walking distance from the school they are attending. The State of Kansas only requires a school district to transport those students who reside two and one half miles or more from their attendance center. Students attending Bradley and MacArthur are within walking distance to school. Many Eisenhower and Patton Students are bussed to school. |

The use of this service depends on the conduct of the riders. Parents must be responsible for the actions of their children aboard the buses and at the pick-up points. Bus drivers will report all acts of misconduct to the school principal. The first time a child is reported he/she may be denied the privilege of riding the bus for two (2) weeks. Repeated misconduct will result in a more severe penalty. We insist that students ride only their assigned buses. This is necessary so as not to overload the buses. Bus schedules will be posted before the opening of school. We solicit your cooperation in helping to make our bus service a successful operation. |
